I work closely with product and engineering, often acting as the connective tissue between technical and product decisions. Previously product analytics at Coinbase, founding data scientist at the Golden State Warriors, ML engineering at Stats Perform, and operations strategy at Uber.
The first data scientist in Basketball Operations. Guided data strategy and built the production models, analytics infrastructure, and reporting the coaches and front office relied on for player development, rotations, and roster decisions.
Shipped a patented on-device algorithm for flight detection and landing. Captured-flight rate went from ~40% to nearly 100%. The feature was highlighted on Life360's earnings call and unlocked a new revenue stream through the Uber partnership.
Originated the idea, recruited the team, and delivered the winning pitch at Vista Equity Partners' 2019 AI/ML Hackathon. $25K grand prize across 40+ Vista portfolio companies. The concept later became a US patent application: Graph-Based Method of Next Pitch Prediction.
